Welcome to Whiskers Health Organisation
At Whiskers Health Organisation, we rescue and care for abandoned, injured, and neglected animals across the UK, giving them a second chance at a healthy, happy life.
With your kindness, we can transform their future, one paw at a time.
To provide love, care, and medical attention to animals in need.
When an animal is lost, scared, or suffering, we don't just step in — we wrap them in care, offering warmth, safety, and hope from the very first moment.
Our team responds to emergency calls and provides immediate care to animals in distress.
From first check-ups to urgent treatments, we work closely with trusted local veterinary teams who help our animals heal and thrive.
Every animal deserves to feel what love is. Through kind-hearted foster families and thoughtful adoptions, we help them find the comfort of home.
Whether you give, volunteer, or share your time, you can help us save lives. Every donation, every share, every moment you give brings hope to animals who need it most.
They may not run board meetings (yet), but they inspire everything we do.
Chief of Naps & Grumbles
Sleeps anywhere, anytime, and isn't afraid to voice her opinions.
Phoebe was the very first to join our family 14 years ago, arriving during a time when comfort was needed most. From that day on, she has been the heart of the home and the one who quietly shows up when you need company. She has earned her place as the boss, strutting through rooms with the kind of confidence that makes everyone step aside. With her grumpy looks and commanding presence, Phoebe makes sure life runs on her terms. Yet beneath it all is a gentle, loyal side she always knows when to curl up next to you, offering her quiet support in the moments that matter most.
Purring HR Manager
A cuddle loving gentle giant with the loudest purr in the house.
Chewie joined the family as a playful kitten, full of energy and little nibbles. He has grown into a gentle giant with a long tail that finishes in a broken tip, making him all the more unique. His deep, rumbling purr sounds just like Chewbacca and can be heard across the room. Every morning, Chewie shows up for cuddles, standing tall to wrap his paws around you in a hug. At night, he quietly gathers soft toys from around the house, arranging them neatly in one spot. Strong yet loving, Chewie keeps everyone in line while making sure his presence is always felt.
Director of TV Engagement
Loves screen time almost as much as treats (especially if it's a bird on YouTube).
Kandi was found on the freezing streets of Poland in a box with her 4 kittens. At first, she was thought too weak to survive, and her milk too sickly to feed. But Kandi never gave up. One day, she escaped her isolation and joined the other rescue kittens, they were all piled on top of her, feeding happily. Against all odds, she ended up nursing 18 kittens, and every single one survived. Now Kandi is a healthy, playful cat with a love for chatting and watching TV. The moment the remote is picked up, she’s there by your side, ready for her favourite shows.
Chief of Cuddles & Chaos
Soft, snuggly, and goes absolutely wild when the sun goes down.
Benito was one of the kittens rescued with Kandi, found in a box on a freezing street. With his mother’s care, he grew strong and playful, ready for a home of his own. He was briefly adopted in the UK, but his boundless energy proved too much, and he returned to us right back where he belonged, reunited with his mum. Benito is slim, full of life, and has bursts of playful energy. He doesn’t meow, but he’s clever enough to figure out how to switch toys on by pressing the buttons until they work. When he’s not racing around, Benito is happiest cuddled up on his favourite blanket.
Head of Light Chasing & Sparkle Patrol
Forever hunting reflections and mysterious beams on the wall.
Twitch and her brother Scooby were found abandoned in Ukraine, lying on the road beside a sibling who didn’t survive. She grew into the smallest cat in the house with the loudest meow, the biggest appetite and an even bigger heart. Nerve damage makes her face twitch when she’s excited, especially during cuddles, and she loves chasing shiny reflections. Her favourite prize is a crumpled piece of paper, which she proudly carries around as if it were treasure. Loyal and watchful, Twitch follows you everywhere, always keeping an eye on you even if she’s already stolen food from your plate.
Bug Control Specialist
If it crawls or flies, he's on it, no questions asked.
Scooby was rescued alongside his sister Twitch in Ukraine after a traumatic start in life. He grew up shy, hiding in corners and unsure of human touch, but he never left Twitch’s side. Over time, Scooby slowly let his guard down and became part of the family. He loves climbing towers and stairs, chasing bugs, and curling into the strangest sleeping positions, sometimes so deeply relaxed he forgets to breathe. Scooby is also a chatterbox, spending hours “talking” with his dad as if they truly understand each other. From a frightened kitten to a playful companion, Scooby has found his safe place.
They weren't just rescues, they became family. Each of our six cats came to us with their own story. Some were shy, some were sick, some just needed a place to feel safe.
Looking after them showed us how many animals out there need the same love and care. That's how Whiskers Health began, from a home full of paws, purrs, and purpose.
